I've always been a lover of taking photographs to capture memories. I used to spend hours going back through my camera roll after trips or special events, to relive that moment in time. Photos have always been my way to capture and commemorate what feels to be fleeting moments in time. Nothing stays the same forever, but I wanted to make sure that my precious memories were captured exactly as I remembered experiencing them. Once I took the leap of faith after collage to graduate and move across the country to Oahu, I knew in my heart that I wanted to capture the island in all of its glory.
I've always had a good eye for composition, colors, and lighting, and when I began to encorperate feelings and raw emotions into photos, I was captivated by the process of it all. Down to every last detail
Whether its to visit, or to stay more than just a little while, everyone shares the the beauty of the island, and the feeling that they wish they could stay forever.
I wish to capture these fleeting moments. The way you remember the wind blow through your hair, sand beneath your toes. The golden glow of the sunlight upon your skin. Running with hands intertwined into endless blue water.
My photos are much more than a beautiful image, but a feeling that takes you right back to where you were in that exact moment in time.
