My
I’ve always been a lover of taking photos just to hold onto a memory. I used to spend way too much time scrolling back through my camera roll after trips or special moments, trying to feel that exact feeling again. Photos have always been my little way of freezing time, even as life keeps moving. Nothing ever stays the same forever, and I think that’s what made me want to document everything. I wanted my memories to look exactly how they felt in the moment.
After college, when I finally took the leap and moved all the way to Oahu, something clicked for me. Being so far from everything familiar, surrounded by new people and new experiences, I realized that I didn’t just want to capture my memories anymore. I wanted to do the same for other people, to save their moments, their emotions, their little pieces of life they never want to forget.
What started as me trying to remember my own world turned into wanting to give others something to hold onto as well. And that's where you come in!! I want to document the moments you’ll look back on years from now, the way you look at the person you love, the way you laugh, the way a day felt rather than just how it looked.
My hope is that when you see your photos, you get to relive it, even just for a second, the same way I used to when I’d scroll through my own memories. That’s why I do this. That’s why it means so much to me. :)
